Tech Tips and Solutions:
Please don’t hesitate to notify Nathan in the office if you experience problems. We are constantly adapting and improving our systems, but can only address issues that we are aware of.
YouTube – If you are having trouble with a link to our YouTube channel, you can still get there in several different methods:
- Try this link: http://www.youtube.com/@ulch
- If you go to your main YouTube or type in youtube.com and in the search bar type “University Lutheran Church of Hope Minneapolis”
- Go to the main page of our website; ulch.org. On the main page is a link to our YouTube channel
All of the public recordings of worship and events can be found on this channel. If you go to the channel, a “live” recording will appear once the livestream has been started.
Zoom – Emails are sent out every Sunday morning for worship that include the link for Zoom for both Worship and Sunday Forums, special meetings, etc. Group leaders will send out an email with the links for small group meetings as well. If you don’t see that email, or are not getting the Thursday Epistle and other communications, please try:
- Double check your spam/junk folder in your email. Because these emails are sent out from a hosted server (Mailchimp) sometimes filtering can send them to these folders.
- Double check with Nathan in the office that we have your correct email in our databases.
- Contact the group leader to see if they can send you a link for smaller group meetings. There should also be the manual entry codes if the link isn’t working.
Email: Sometimes there are email issues that cannot be easily resolved or fixed on our end. If you are not receiving emails:
- Contact Nathan in the office to see if we have your current email correct.
- Supply an alternate email if you have one, or another method of contact such as text messaging. We will try to reach out with other methods if we know you are having an issue.
- We are currently aware that AOL and Yahoo servers are bouncing back emails from any of our church emails ending with ulch.org. We are working on solutions, but this appears to be much larger problem than an issue with our email servers.
